Average western brunch experience. The food looked tastier than it was. My dish, the crispy polenta, seemed like they took inspiration from shakshuka with the tomato and eggs. However, the ingredients just tasted very removed from one another, didn’t work for me. Inattentive service and the wait time was too long.
Blown away. Amazing and such unique food, great drinks and awesome service. I also loved their patio space.
For appetiser the steak tartar was exquisite, for mains Duck liver pâté on sourdough was good and the pulled bbq Benedict (pictured) was decent. Overall expected tastier food based on all the prior reviews.
Absolutely fantastic celebratory dinner here at Union.I really enjoyed the seasonality of the menu, particularly the Ontario peaches, which were truly fantastic. Didn’t need to dress them up much for a good time.The elk sliders were an absolute standout, I’m not sure I’ve ever had anything that unctuous in my life before. Will come back again.
