The Carew Arms - Torpoint

I only tried the roasted vegetable nuts, and they were great! Priced at £10.95, it was excellent value. It’s so refreshing to find a fantastic vegetarian option for a change. The pub itself is beautiful, and the staff are charming as well.

We missed our bus connection this morning, and to escape the cold wind, we decided to stop by the pub to see if we could grab a cup of tea. To our delight, they not only served tea but also offered breakfast! We enjoyed hot buttered toast with marmalade, which was simply wonderful. It felt fantastic to be so warmly welcomed by our friendly hostess, who was incredibly accommodating. She even helped us out at the start of our hike since there were no buses for about two hours. Honestly, her support made a huge difference in our day. We highly recommend this place!

Dipped and the carew arms to lunch. it was beautiful and bright. we ordered the special board and had the 'piggy platter'. the service was great and the food was delicious, the booze was beautiful and the sweet tasted amazing and fresh.

Cannot fault any of the food. The fillet steak is so tasty. Loved the salad and chips too! Very clean and friendly service.

Lovely friendly staff... food excellent and good prices. Thoroughly recommended!
