Old Engine House - Torquay

3 of us had a lot of coal, and we all agreed that it was very good, meat cooked to perfection, sweet tasty and the heavy just delicious! the 4th had a burger and could not mistake him either. we enjoyed our visit, the personal was friendly and cheerful. all round good experiences, we will be back in torquay next time.

Had a nice lunch here last week with some friends, lovely friendly service and good food. I 'm a wheelchair user and it was nice to find a toilet that was large enough to easily get in and out of and clean. As Arnie once said I 'll be back

Thanks to the couple that recommended this venue when planned venue was closed. Had delicious carvery meal, good value, top quality exceptionally friendly and efficient staff. Would definitely return. Try it.

Food was really good, the only reason it's not 5 stars is because the lady serving our food was rude, didn't check back, didn't smile, didn't look like she wanted to be in her job at all. That being said the other members of staff were brilliant. Smiling, helpful and chatty.

I ordered a carvery today, and it was absolutely incredible! I had the small portion while my husband had the medium, and neither of us could finish our meals. The food was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. Definitely worth a visit!
