21 Square And Kitchen - Torrance

Not bad! A chill place overall. Parking-wise, I wasn't quite sure if the restaurant validated hotel parking, so just parked across the street at the mall. 21 Square Bar Kitchen can found going into the lobby and to the left side. It has big opendoors to a nice patio area and a big bar area with a few tables. The bartenders were super nice and chill. Going into theDineLA menu, here's what I got: *Shrimp Ceviche Tostada: The presentation of the food on this was a little off and the tostadaitself didn't look fresh (apologies if I'm wrong! , but the shrimp ceviche itself was delicious. Refreshing and was a greatstart. *Adobo Braised Lamb Shank: Also surprisingly solid. The plating on this was better than the ceviche and the polenta basewas good. The lamb was a little salty but overall just went well with the polenta. Loved the contrast. *Cinnamon Churros: Again,the presentation itself wasn't spectacular, but the flavor was terrific. Bite into one of these churros and find a good amountof caramel overflowing. It's so good. *Local Red Ale: Super solid and delicious! Think some stuff can be better for sure butthere's potential. A 3 1/2 star stop that I don't mind giving 4 stars here!

Love the garden, fire outside. Healthy and delicious options for breakfast, quite basic menu for dinner with larger drink options.

Nice, relaxing atmosphere to unwind or meet up with friends. GREAT Drinks! The food is pretty decent, too! I loved the 360 fireplace!!

We arrived around 8 and were told to take any seat, then we waited about 10 minutes with no one came to wait on us, so we decided to leave without ordering. If you're understaffed, hire more people or CLOSE the business. It's in a Marriott propertyso it ruined their brand as well.

Great spot if you live in the area !! We?ve been looking for a nice spot that isn?t too crowded during Covid times . We are locals but it has been a great bar type place for us this summer since they space folks well and it isn?t crazy crowded like themall restaurants . We?ve had the same server Keaton both visits and he is great! Especially considering they have cut theirstaff due to the economic conditions . Our new go to until places open up again ! Ask for Keaton really nice guy andhospitable host .
