We worked with Karla at Elegant since they were the exclusive vendor through our wedding venue South End Racquet Club in Torrance. We booked them pre-pandemic and worked with them through our multiple postponements. They were flexible and understanding each time we had to postpone. Because we weren't flower people, our vision for the centerpiece and room decorations wasn't the typical affair. We brainstormed with Karla and provided her a few ideas through Pinterest and what we had in mind, and she was able to execute our vision with a perfect unique candle and greenery oriented centerpiece and decorations for the reception room. The venue had an oddly placed doorway located by the dance floor, and per our request she was able to conjure up an amazing looking backdrop to where you wouldn't even know it was there. The uplighting they set up was also amazing looking and complemented the existing color controlled ceiling lights. The catering was delicious and the servings are huge! All of the appetizers were delicious, but the bruschetta and cheeseburger sliders were our favorites (coconut shrimp, bruschetta, cheeseburger sliders and mini quesadillas). We added two additional appetizers on top of the two appetizers the package came with so our guests could have more variety. For the entrees, we selected the steak, which was cooked perfectly to medium and parmesan crusted chicken that took up half the plate. For the sides, they were able to provide our request for roasted vegetables to pair with the rice pilaf. Safe to say all of our guests left full and happy. Karla and her team worked efficiently to serve all of our 170+ guests in a timely manner. They are reasonably priced and the service is exceptional.

Carlos and his staff catered our 50th high school reunion at WestEnd racquet club. Food was hot, tasty and plentiful. This review is looong overdue. i provide 3 stars because the first time around (at a million dollar venue) they provided such great service. As a returning customer, I am very disappointed on the services provided this time around. It was very clear from not only Carlos but the entire team that you all had an issue/looked down on our venue. It began when one of your workers immediately exited the car and touched the tarp while frowning as if the quality was not good enough. It was further reiterated when you continued to say i will stop doing these type of events and i have other events to go to . As a professional, you should never make your customer feel as if they are not as important as your other customers-regardless the venue, regardless your schedule. I had a few other vendors who returned from my 30th they delivered the SAME quality, positive experience. Unfortunately, you all did not. For my 30th, i was wowed impressed by the work you all did. Rarely was i called for approval or adjustments during setup. What we discussed in our meetings was executed perfectly. This time i was left incredibly unsatisfied my family i were forced to put together multiple decor alternatives on the day of. Amongst my family friends, there were several artists, creatives, even an event decorator/party planner from another state who were all just very unimpressed by your work. It left me feeling like amongst my team of family/friends we truly could have done it ourselves. As i sought multiple vendors to rent equipment but i trusted that your company would provide a wow factor that we could not attain-which this time around, was not the case. For example, the draping we discussed at our meeting, I had to remind you the night before. Good thing I did as it was the only 'wow ' factor provided. From unclean chairs, to quick set-up/arrangements, to having to remind you of a drape/background the night before, to you not returning to test the lighting the night before as you stated, it was very evident that my event was not on your priority list. i truly do not remember feeling that way for my 30th. This is how things get when a business becomes too busy/overbooked, someone has to suffer unfortunately, this time it was my sister 's graduation party. Luckily, i had a team of family who was willing to make day of downtown runs for additional decor and it turned out beautifully. The entire experience this time around was night day from my 1st experience with them, Carlos is usually very positive willing to make anything work-not so much this time.

Soon-to-be brides and grooms, look no further! My husband Joseph and I got married at South End in December, and our experience with Carlos was top-notch! Carlos was ABSOLUTELY amazing--he was always responsive, courteous, and flexible with working with our options, always offering to go above and beyond to make our special day even more special. Like many engaged couples, we bombarded him with a hundred questions and concerns, but he always calmly answered our questions and came up with solutions that immediately put our minds at ease. I definitely feel like those are all the characteristics that every soon-to-be bride is looking for in a caterer/event planner. Carlos is amazing at what he does!!! We honestly couldn't have found a better caterer. Our friends and family loved the dishes that Carlos and Rosa cooked. Wedding planning can be quite a ball of stress for many people, but we've got to give a shout-out to Carlos for making our reception a breeze. Thank you again, Carlos!!! God bless!
