Frida Mexican Cuisine Torrance

Went there to try fancy Mexican food. the food was moderate and too expensive and the service was terrible. my girlfriend and I ordered enchilada plates that are quite uninspiring with sauces that do not have a distinctive taste. the queso fundido came warm, but not hot, so the cheese began to harden. the hard lesson we learned here was not to order wine in a Mexican restaurant. we ordered a glass of Mandelavi taxi and it was unnoticed. I complained about the water and he offered to replace with another wine, and it was not to think either. we were charged for the two glasses. the service was very slow and we were often looking for a waiter. It was obvious that they were provided to the larger groups as they were served faster and received more attention (most likely for the bigger tips). Total drop for the night was $116 for a dinner that wasn't half that... we won't go back...

My family and I eat for the first time in this restaurant. The dishes and drinks were delicious. I definitely come back here. Homemade Mais Tortillas were so bomb!. I had the Mol poblano chicken breast with rice, beans and plantain was so good. My husband had the steak tacos and he said they were also delicious. My daughter had the cheese quesadillas and rice.

The service does not correspond to the environment and pleasant atmosphere. The waiter had no friendly demeanor at all and basically rushed to order if he was not busy at all. I laughed almost after our first interaction because I was exactly like this: "There is no way that just happened; that's not real. It didn't just happen, did it?” I also asked for extra lime and he forgot? So I had to ask him a second time (again was not busy, had tons of open tables around us). Just not the vibe. Service is basically to get your order as soon as possible and get you out of the door. The host told us nothing on the way out. What a joke.

I really wanted to love this restaurant, but the prices must be adjusted.

First time at Frida’s. The food was really good. I enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. I’ll be ba k for sure.
