I love this place. Literally the best beef bowl/steak bowl you can get anywhere. The beef is extremely tender. It may look deceptively simple but it's really good. I have gone to their Kobe Japan location and this place is really good.

The staff completely ignored us while we were chatting and it took almost 10 minutes to be seated, despite several empty tables. After we placed our order, there was another lengthy wait, and they ended up bringing us the wrong food. The rice bowl, which was supposed to be served hot, arrived cold. We were in a hurry to finish our meal and leave. Then, the most bizarre dining experience occurred: they realized they had served us the incorrect food and simply came over to take it back, even though I had already eaten nearly half of it, without any apology! We told them we didn't want to wait and asked if we could keep the food, but they ignored us and took it anyway, which was quite disrespectful. Despite the terrible service, we still left a 15% tip. Honestly, this was the worst restaurant experience we've had in the US! If you don't care about your customers or your reputation, then we won't care about your business either.

This restaurant is a fantastic place to dine, offering a lovely jazzy ambiance. I highly recommend the Sliced Beef Don with the raw Jidori egg; it's exceptional. The croquettes and everything else on the menu are delicious too. Food rating: 5/5.

The American Sliced Beef Don is absolutely incredible! The combination of yogurt and fresh spices is fantastic, and the presentation is stunning. A must-try!
