Sushi Boy - Torrance

The sushi was prepared quickly, and the fish was fresh and delicious. The prices are very reasonable as well. I will definitely be returning!

I visit this restaurant often. While I’d love to indulge in high-quality sushi for $20 to $40 every time I crave it, I try to stick to my budget (which seems to be a skill that some Californians lack—just saying). For the price, the sushi is a great value. I spend about $60 a month here, compared to $100 to $200 at other places, and it's significantly better than supermarket sushi, which is really my only other budget-friendly option. This restaurant has found a solid middle ground between grocery store sushi and higher-end restaurant sushi in both quality and price, filling a unique niche in the South Bay sushi scene.

I visited this restaurant with my son, and we had a wonderful experience. I was pleasantly surprised to find California rolls on the menu—they were delicious, and I can't wait to have more! For me, they felt more like a snack. I wish I could share a picture! I definitely recommend checking this place out; you won't regret it.

The sushi was excellent, as always. The tempura California roll and the Torrance roll are among my favorites. Don’t miss out on happy hour for some fantastic prices!
