Without exception the worst Indian meal I ever had in Spain. Chicken Tika Masala was ghastly sweet and inedible. Then waiter insisted on charging up full a la carte price rather than the Menu del Dia price. Wouldn't go back ever.
1 hour waiting for main meal after starter people came in after us and left well before us meal just ok very disapointed
Having regularly dining out at many Indian Restaurants (eg The Taj Mahal at Benimar etc) we had read some previous reviews and after 20 years of living nearby, we decided to try it out. Big mistake. Being our first visit we decided to order the fixed menu. Papadams, delivered promptly, were good. Then we waited for over 20 minutes. Both the chicken tikka and chicken tandoori seemed simply boiled and stained bright red. Both were dry and completely tasteless. We ended with the ice cream which contained slivers of ice. We paid the bill and left. A poor experience, never to return.
If you don’t mind waiting an hour for your main course... the food is worth the long wait. They don’t seem able to cope with a full restaurant, hopefully they will employ more staff in the kitchen, or at least try to stagger bookings. We booked for 8pm and had to wait for the drinks, wait for starters, wait for mains. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is good, food is excellent, it’s just the slow service that lets them down.
