99 Restaurants - Torrington

CT's last 99 restaurant location. Most recent orders have been takeout and sometimes results in declined food quality. Last order was just OK. Their prices have increased significantly in the last year as have most. But their price for a chx parm dinner with 1 side is now comparable to several local italian restaurants chx parm meal that comes with bread, a soup or salad and pasta side. When it's just OK, there is very little that draws you in. Eating local is more cost-effective now. For us, this was the place to go for a reasonable and quick meal. But it's too overpriced for their quality and value now. Parking: Ample parking. Safety sometimes an issue at this parking as I've been approached several times in this area by strangers asking for money. Often police foot patroled but being alert is important.

Place was dirty and cold, TVs didn't work where people were dining. We waited about 20 minutes just for the drinks to be brought. Food took about 45 minutes and was Luke warm. There were other people complaining about the same things. Terrible service, terrible atmosphere and food was not worth $111. We will not be going back.

Food was good and fairly priced. It's a family restaurant so if you don't like kids screaming and running around this is not your scene, but it's fine for some casual eating.

I worked late, didn't feel like cooking. I ordered a Ceasars salad entree and it was like the size of a side salad you get with a meal.
