Most of the time you find either big meat, or big pages....For Zach and Lou's we both found! A great family business that makes things right! We will definitely make the trip again!
Delicious every time! Plus sitting out at the picnic tables on a beautiful day . Go early for best selection. The meatloaf is true craft food. Don't forget dessert! Welcome to the neighborhood and continued success to you!
I'm waiting to try Zach and Lou, and it wasn't disappointed. Literal meat heaven. Brisket was the best brisket I ever had. Pig bell was like meat. Beans were hearty and perfectly balanced BBQ quality. Tried all 3 of sauces; spicy, sweet and mustard. All were phenomenal, although my favorite was sweet. Will definitely be back and forth. As a southern transplant I miss BBQ a lot and I am grateful to find an authentic and high quality experience at Zach and Lou. Lou also met out at dinner and he was super personable and up to Earth. It is easy to see why this place has so many near perfect reviews!
Had about a 30-minute drive to come here and I'll say it was worth it! The smoked ceddar garlic sausage was incredible and cheesier as expected! The pulled chicken was also excellent and paired with the spicy bbq sauce. The Mac and the cheese were very good and the corn cake was homemade, which was a surprising note. To complete everything, the chocolate peanut butter cake was the perfect end! A must stop when you are in the area (and maybe if you don't)!
Probably in my top 5 pulled pork places. Brisket was good, mac n cheese was very good. I had the pork bomb baked potato and it was superb. I hope they bring the Idaho Spud truck back next year.
