Mi Niño - Tortuguero

The vegan burrito is a good size, and very well made. one of the better meals we had in the opposite. they also have generous size Batidos/Smoothies (water base). not many options for vegan breakfast, but then again not much is open in the morning. had tears and buds and fruits that they did instead of the usual tears and drilling with egg etc.

They have a vegetarian section on the menu. We had a vegan burrito and a burger without cheese (we asked, and the patty is vegan). Really good burger. They also have water based smoothies. Other items on the menu looked like they could be veganized (patacones and nachos)

This restaurant was the best vegan option in town. Of course you can not compare it to European standards etc., since the food is still very simple, but the portions are big and the variety of vegan and vegetarian dishes you can choose is a lot. Once we had the burritos, which were very fresh (but somehow we both had different ingredients in it) and another time we chose the burger and the fried rice. Sure that was fast food, but what else to expect....?

Had a vegan burrito which came with tortilla chips. Burrito included vegetables and some beans and was fairly good sized. Server was very kind and helpful in pointing out vegan options. While the food isn’t excellent it is a good vegan option while staying in Tortuguero.

Fast food with frozen fries. Plates are so big but food wasn’t something from another planet. Not cheap at all for what they offer. Beer is cheap. Came here because the happy cow reviews but Tortuguero needs to increase and improve vegan options. It is not located next to the beach as happy cow shows. It is in front of the Tortuguero town pier.
