The Sombrero Tacoria - Totowa

We started by asking for recommendations from the waitress, who suggested Birria tacos. We agreed to order that along with a few single tacos. However, when the food arrived, there were no Birria tacos. The waitress claimed we never ordered them, which we found humorous. Unfortunately, the tacos we did receive were lacking in flavor and fillings. We left a $5 tip, but it took a long time for our food and silverware to be brought to us. Overall, we felt the restaurant was overpriced and the food was lacking in taste. We recommend avoiding this establishment at all costs. Service: Dine in.

Our order was missing the chips and salsa but we were able to get a refund immediately after calling. The rest of the food was good. Shrimp tacos and birria tacos were amazing. The flan and tres leches were great as well. Gus was very polite while answering the phone, I had to call back and get his name. Thank you again Gus. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100

Never order from here! i am expecting a call from a manager. your employees hang up on customers and then they give the wrong food. your employees hung up on me when i called in regards to my order multiple times.

I have been working in the kitchen for years, today I am a sous-chef, I am passing through this area and I went in to eat some tacos, how are they? My opinion, having eaten tacos in Mexico and some other places in NYC where I live, the tacos are not bad but they are not bad either. They are good, they are tasteless, the tortilla, I don't know if it is made in the restaurant, but I didn't like it at all, stop at the supermarket, they should improve the seasoning of the meat and the sauce of the taco, nothing like others that I have eaten, nothing spicy, these tacos They are more American style with cheese, good tacos only need some tortillas dipped in pork fat, a green tomatillo salt, jalapeño cilantro and of course their chopped white onion with cilantro, my personal opinion has nothing against the people of the establishment.
