Feedback gevenWe consulted Tripadvisor for a Seafood restaurant and pleasingly the 3 Sails was just around the corner. The smiley and friendly Asian waiter jumped in to serve when he heard we spoke English as it was his first day. We decided just to order a main dish each. I chose grilled tuna and asked for it to be well done as I was nervous about having it served too pink. My wife went for the Poisson Paraillade which contained a white fish of the day, grilled tuna and two large prawns still in their shells. Both dishes came with salad, salted potatoes and french bean and corgettes. The food was delicious and we were delighted with the generous portion sizes and the reasonable price of under 40 euros for both. Good food, good service, nice ambience and a good price. What more could you want on a scorching Toulouse evening?
We were staying in Toulouse for the rugby league (or 13's in France) and stumbled upon this restaurant as we were starting just up the road and didn't want to venture far as it was raining. Having had meat the 2 nights before we fancied fish so although there was only 2 other people in the restaurant we thought we would give it a try. I'm so glad we did! The waitress looked a bit worried when we asked for a table for 3 which was strange because it was empty, but by 8.30 all of the tables on all floors were full and they were turning people away. We had the special for 2 people which was a couple of types of fish, prawns, cuttlefish, half lobster and veg, plus the shellfish dish below that on the menu which was mussels, prawns, sea snails and clams. And they brought us some bread to mop up the juices. Everything was cooked beautifully. The waitress helped us to pick out a wine which paired beautifully (we speak very little French so there was a lot of pointing and guessing but she was very helpful!). I definitely recommend this restaurant if you're looking for seafood.
Visited Les 3 Voiles for an evening meal with my husband this Sunday. The restaurant was quiet when we arrived and we ordered relatively quickly. We shared the 'Parillade Royal' which was a really good size for two to share but it lacked much flavour and was quite bland. The service was pretty poor as there appeared to be just two ladies serving the entire restaurant which proceeded to get busy quite quickly after our main course arrived. It subsequently took ages to have the table cleared, then ages to get the bill, then ages to pay. The restaurant also lacked atmosphere. Maybe it's ok for lunch but wouldn't really recommend for dinner.
A great fish restaurant in Toulouse. We had two tapas to start- crevettes and a very garlicy bread with tomatoes. Both good size and very tasty. Mains were cuttlefish and tuna. Both mains had a great selection of vegetables included. Sorbet to finish was sharp and tangy. Nice white house wine. Excellent value as well.
Excellent food and service.Only 5 minutes from Jean Jaures metro. We spent a really enjoyable evening here. The portions are very generous. I had the grilled cuttlefish and my partner had a steak and we shared a rice pudding for dessert. The restaurant is spread over the ground floor and 3 upper floors so if someone has mobility problems it's probably best to book a table on the ground floor.Would definitely visit again.
