La Garrigue - Tourrettes

My wife and I and our 2 children spent a lovely evening eating and drinking at La Garrigue. The quality of food was excellent, and the service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend the Pasta (Kids assured me it was the Best in the world... ever! , and my Bouillabaisse was superb!.

Quite honestly, in a way, you wouldn 't expect to find a restaurant across the way from the Intermarché at Tourrettes, but there it is, quite unassuming, and able to do what they say they can on the menu.(By the way, the Commune of Tourrettes extends down from the village on the hill down to the main road) They stress the fact that they do pizzas, and OMG they do!! La Garrigue, you need to buy some larger plates, your pizzas are ENORMOUS!! They are very filling, and with a green salade, that 's quite enough!! Last year, I tried the bouillabaisse, and it was worth the wait, totally authentique, down to the ink from the baby squid. Service is good; the staff are very efficient and attentive. I think they fight their corner well, and you won 't, in my experience at least, be disappointed.
