Brave Old Oak Towcester

Great old pub with a great pint in a great location. It is a really nice place, and the entire high street is worth stopping at. Don't just drive through if you're in the area. The village is picturesque.

I had a fantastic lunch at this pub earlier. The food was of great quality, cooked and presented well. The highlight for me was the burger with pulled beef barbacoa, which had just the right amount of spice to make my mouth and lips tingle. I also enjoyed the sweet potato fries. This was probably the best pub meal I've had in a while, no, definitely. I can't wait to try more items from the menu.

Being a foreigner (I am Dutch), this is how I envision an English pub to be – with welcoming staff, delicious food, great beer, and friendly locals. I will definitely be returning every evening this week.

This pub is brill wish it was in my village. Well done to all the staff and Dave.
