We had meat on rice. salat on the side. lamm huh boiled really nice .starter was brot and an onoin . very strange the onoin . service she never asked if everything is in order. there to look too much on the phones. we had just typing. water and an express coffee. what was...good.i would go back.
A very disappointing experience. starter was in order, but the main course was terrible. small pieces of fat lamb, small part of rice and a token salad. the most disappointing aspect of the evening was the personal. not at the entrance greeted and the waiters looked like they just didn't want to be there. did not ask us if we wanted to whisper, nor a drink. no more typp and no one deserves it.
This place could be so easy the best Turkish restaurant in east london, but for now it is only average. eating is especially very good, although it is lacking consistency with the portion sizes and changes almost daily, depending on who is in the kitchen. the real...case here is the waiting staff that distracts in their own group discussion and constantly maintains and occasionally serves the rather annoying customers who like to eat. I would definitely avoid visiting for a ride lunch, unless they work somewhere that we have them 2 hours to lunch. my last two takeaways lasted 30 and 40 minutes to prepare, which is overwhelming, that I only ordered a lamb kebab that is already cooked and has to be cut and served! there is a great restaurant that awaits here, but it is held back by its own apathy and the lack of direction.
Efendi used to be a popular spot for team lunches in the E2 postcode area, offering a good value lunch set menu at £750 that included a drink. However, there have been recent issues with the service, such as long wait times for main courses and slow service reported by multiple groups. Despite its convenient location and affordable lunch options, Efendi may lose customers if these issues are not addressed.
