The manager, Andrew, is one of the most friendly, polite, and helpful managers a pub could have. I would rate it 10 out of 10.
I just get out from “The Ship Inn” pub and I never had so bad service from a manager like I just had with this Bar Manager, Andrew (I ask for is name). Me and my boyfriend moved to isle of dogs and we are attending this pub which is close to our house. I would like to say to the owner of this establishment to pay more attention about how the manager treats his staff and his guests. I was never served with such arrogance and lack of education. I asked for his name to be sure that someone will do something. Thanks
I visited a local pub on Sunday for lunch. The menu was quite limited and the roast beef was a bit pricey at £16, but it was of good quality. The only dessert option was apple crumble. It's just a small local pub, so I didn't expect much more. There was a decent crowd of locals, with only us being outsiders. It had a typical east end local vibe, nothing too fancy. There were three TV screens, making it a good choice for watching football, rugby, and cricket. Overall, I enjoyed my experience.
I stopped by to celebrate a friend's birthday and to try the famous pizza at this restaurant. I was so impressed! The pizza is hand made on site and lives up to the hype. We ordered the margarita pizza for our group and it was fantastic. The prices were very reasonable. The bar staff were friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us, even making a custom drink for one of our party. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and feels like a local favorite. I will definitely be back.
Not a great experience The beer tasted off, when I asked the bartender to change it for a different one he refused, so I had to pay again. Shame as the place is nice
