The restaurant has a very Adirondack feel to it decor wise, the food was solid and the service was absolutely amazing. I haven't had a service experience this good in a long time, we will definitely be back!
The staff was lovely. Lots of personal attention and the view on the patio was spectacular. For two below average burgers @20 each, one lackluster watery martini special @15, a soda and one dessert the total price with tip was ridiculous. Since my tip covered the excellent service I guess the view cost 50 bucks.
Great food. Plus we got listen to the Great Vinnie Leddick serenade us with some classics.
We ate here two nights in a row, while staying at the Sagamore and I wish I could bring the place home with us. The steak salad (I substituted chicken for steak is delicious one of the best restaurant salads I've had (the roasted tomatoes are amazing! Our waitress was fantastic I didn't have to ask for anything, as she was always a step ahead. This was the perfect spot for our family!
Overall not a bad experience. The food is solid for a small pub in the hotel and the staff is friendly and prompt. Drinks are pretty standard, nothing special in that department but pretty good. My one complaint would be they seem understaffed pretty badly. There was always a table available to sit at and get a drink but on two different nights they told us the kitchen was so backed up they couldn't even take our orders for at least 30 mins. Maybe it's just due to the off-season but seems like they need a bit of help.
