Hillsdale House - Town of Copake

I went to the Hillsdale House last night for dinner and sat in the bar. I felt like I was with Cheers. I had the Italian night special, ziti with a pig Ragu (Chicken Pork). All right. Portion was large, and it was spread with a salad and a beautiful roasted Italian bread and a sun-dried tomatoes and red pepper flakes butter. I could not resist the shoe-running onion rings, served with one side of the Ranch Dressing. Oh, and the Eclaire was fantastic. Everything was delicious! The people next to me came to dessert and gave the chocolate cake 2 thumbs. Apparently all desserts are made at home. On the other hand was a man who comes every Monday night for her Burger beer special for $10. You have to tap all local beers to choose from. I want to try the Chicken Special on Thursday, from which I heard great things.
