Stonecutter's Tavern At Belhurst Castle

What a beautiful location. Such a well cared for and manicured facility. Had lunch on the patio with a glass of wine. Food was okay. I would have thought better quality, but we were both happy enough with the experience.

It took us over an hour to get here. Wine and cheese tasting- no issues. Lunch at the bar was beyond disappointing. We sat at the bar and I’ve never been so rushed to order food. Deb the miserable bartender hounded us to order after we said we needed a minute. I didn’t even have time to look at all the menu items before settling on soup and salad. Soup was bland and tasteless and the Caesar salad came out wrong. I decided not to purchase a couple bottles of wine and some cheeses after that experience even though I did like the wines and cheeses.

Need to update establishment look from the 90s. We stood in line for 13 minutes to get it. Had time for happy hour waitress did not honor it. Service slow ? and to continue to ask for water while she chatted it up with her friends at the bar. Food.... high priced soup tasted like paste and barely warm but again couldn't get the waitresses attention someone was banging on the glass by the bar let's go for a smoke break. Dinner took was too long calamari should be fresh not over done crunchy and chewy. Will not be back felt blown off the whole time.

It's pretty with a nice view. Indoor and outdoor seating. The food was okay, the salad was great, the sandwiches were sandwiches lol, my sangria was amazing. Make sure to look at your receipt before paying because we had a whole extra meal added to ours that was more expensive than both the meals we ordered. The waiter was nice about it though apologized and fixed it promptly. Said it happens sometimes because of their computer system someone may add something to the wrong table. The dessert was amazing though I highly recommend the chocolate chip cookie dough cake! I wish I could have a whole cake lol ? I got it to go and didn't get any plastic silverware and ended of just eating it with my hands because it looked so good and it didn't disappoint! ?

My Ceasars salad was excellent and my husband got a turkey pelini and he thought it was very good too. Good atmosphere overall.
