In May, most places in the area were closed for the season, so we were grateful to discover this little diner. Believe it or not, the food at Selena's is fantastic! I loved the specials, and the portions were generous. There was a young gentleman who was always there in the evenings to greet us and take our orders—he was both entertaining and kind, although I can’t recall his name. We enjoyed our experience so much that we brought our kids back in August, and they agreed this place is a gem. If only they could open a location in NYC!
Amazing little diner! Have been passing by here for years, and I finally decided to stop with my family. Full diner menu, daily lunch and dinner specials, and even a senior special menu. We dined in and had pizza and Stromboli, which were great. I would go back for those alone and didn't even get to try any of the usual diner type fare. In fact, we've been back a few times now and haven't gotten past the pizza and Stromboli, yet it's been so good. We got Stromboli for takeout one night as well. Staff is very nice and friendly. We will be coming back here for many years to come.
I had the broiled seafood combo. The entire meal was cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly. Would recommend to everyone.
It's a diner. You get diner food. Only thing I regret is not trying that pizza that looked smelled delicious at the table next to us! But it was clean, staff was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed!
The family and I decided to try Selena's based on the Google reviews, and I'm glad we did. We arrived at Selena's before the dinner crowd (for an early dinner), and we were the only customers in the restaurant at the time. Our orders were taken, and the food was served very quickly. I enjoyed the Parm Panini, and my wife had the French Dip Sandwhich. Both dishes were delicious and piping hot. I have never heard of a diner that had a pizzeria menu mixed in with their diner menu, so I had to try a slice of their pizza. I come from NYC, and it was a decent slice! The overall cost of the food was pretty good. I've paid significantly more at diners on Long Island. I would definitely eat at Selena's again!
