Sure, at a place called House of Pizza, we should have stuck to pizza. But, why have other things on the menu if you 're not going to cook/serve them right? The meat on the Reuben was as tough as eating a Dr. Scholls shoe insert. It stretched like a rubberband but never broke. It was the toughest meat I 've ever experienced. When the waitress was informed, she was not very helpful. We even apologized for complaining about the meat- but it was inedible! She just said, then what else do you want? Without offering any solution or apology. We got Reubens with turkey instead and, although the meat was edible, it just wasn 't any good. Plus, the owner kept cursing and pacing behind our table because someone touched the thermostat. And there must have been some construction going on because we could hear loud banging in the ceiling above us. The area doesn 't have many restaurants and it definitely doesn 't have many good restaurants- you 'd think this one would want to be better.
I started going to the House of Pizza when he first opened, and it's been a mainstay for me. Each time I return here, it's the first place to eat at. Always great food, wonderful people with smiles, and it's always busy. I recommend this place highly I had the meatball grinder and a salad .
Kinda let down by last visit. Only had 4 people. Restaurant wasn't busy for dine in. Three waitresses, at least. Was seated quickly. Then after drink orders. It went downhill. It took 15mins to get our garlic bread. Waited about 45 mins for food and beverages emptied and never replaced. Only 5 mins before food came out, did our server come and ask if we were ok.
The drive through caught our attention but the service is what held it. The pizza was tasty and heavy on the cheese if that’s your forte! They certainly don’t skimp on serving sizing.
