Café Marguerite - Town of Middletown

A must stop if in Margaretville or even driving through the Catskills. Best croissants and cold brew I've ever had!

Five stars for the croissants alone! I’ve been feeling nostalgic about my time spent in Paris and I’ve been searching for authentic French pastries. These croissants are the closest I’ve ever found in the States. The perfect size, perfectly flakey. Thank you for filling the croissant-sized hole in my heart. ‍

I was in the mood for a pastry on a recent drive through the Catskills so I stopped at this cafe. They had a lot of nice looking options but the chocolate almond croissant called to me. Honestly, it was one of the best pastries I've ever had anywhere. The filling was great and the croissant itself blew me away. The edges were perfectly crispy and flakey, and the inside was nice and soft. It was pretty too! I wish I took a picture but I'll just have to do that next time I go there. It seemed like it would be a wonderful place to have a cup of coffee and some sweets with a friend.

I was in the area and figured I’ll stop by for a coffee and bagel, I couldn’t of been more happy, the owner the chef she was extremely nice and helpful and the food was amazing, I’ll be going there more often, very cozy place and well priced.

Really nice little place in the cool little time of Margaretteville. Good espresso and nice avocado toast!
