Pine Hill Arms-bar And Restaurant

Beautifully located on Main Street in the charming town of Pine Hill, we absolutely love staying here. The bar and its staff are incredibly friendly, and the food is AMAZING. The fried chicken dinner and the "McDan" burger are must-tries—you won't regret it! And the cream of kale is outstanding!

I had a wonderful stay at the Pine Hill Arms Hotel, largely thanks to the amazing hosts, Jane and Peter. They truly went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. Jane serves coffee every morning at 6 AM, which was a lovely touch! There are plenty of things to do in the area, but I recommend having a car. Belleayre Beach and several hiking trails, as well as various restaurants, are all just a short drive away—between 5 to 20 minutes. Phoenicia and Belleayre Mountain are also easily accessible. The only reason I rated this place a 4 instead of a 5 is the size of the rooms. They are a bit small, but they work perfectly if you just need a place to sleep and store your belongings.

My stay was a last-minute decision, especially since it was the July 4th weekend. Jane checked me in and was incredibly friendly. I can't emphasize enough how comfortable the bed was and how soft the sheets were, which made sleeping at the Arms an absolute delight. My service dog, Milo, who accompanies me everywhere, and I had the most peaceful and quiet night. We will definitely be returning and can't wait, to be honest!

Great hotel for NY ski weekend 30min to Hunter or Plattekill, 5min to Belleayre or hiking in the Catskills. Cozy rooms and lounge areas. Joe (the owner) was very responsive and communicative. The Arms Restaurant adjacent to the hotel was an extremelypleasant surprise very friendly staff and delicious food and drinks.

This restaurant is an absolute GEM! I went w/friends and while the food was great in quality and value, more than that was the full experience of walking in the door and feeling welcomed as family despite being there for the first time. The owner sat withus and shared my now new favorite adult beverage Becherovka, a Czech Herbal Liqueur. The place is clean, friendly, and theowner and his family take pride in the food and atmosphere. Should be a destination, a must try!
