Panda Garden - Town of Wake Forest

Their name should be “Hidden Garden” ? i’ve passed this place many, many times and never thought to get Chinese food from them. Ordered a few combo plates, was not disappointed. We will definitely be back.

Good Chinese menu and food. I've only done take out.

I ordered Chicken teriyaki, got 4 char siu chicken on a skewer with peanut sauce on the side. This is “satay chicken” not teriyaki chicken! One is a Japanese dish the other is Thai. Every company have the right to label their dish however they want, although the dishes have a base recipe…. I also ordered fried rice, the rice was under cooked. I use to like this place, but today it felt like they have a new chef the dishes were not the same… the service is great, they are always busy, they hustle. The atmosphere was quick simple, being it is only “to-go”, its an in out environment, pretty quick no-nonsense atmosphere, this is not rateable.

I've been trying to find a good Chinese place for over two years since moving from NY. Based on all the reviews, people have NO idea what good Chinese food is. I can say that the service was good and vegetables seem to be fresh. I know this because the main courses were filled with more vegetables than anything. Flavors weren't good, The worst egg rolls hot sour soup yet.

During my first visit to an authentic Chinese restaurant with Chinese people, I enjoyed the good food and was pleasantly surprised to receive unlimited hot tea which the staff kept refilling.
