The Galley happily served our party of eight just a half an hour before their supposed closing time. The sirloin and lobster sandwich was delicious! The club sandwich on rye was the best I have ever eaten. The fries, wings and burgers were devoured by all. The patio and view is one of the best on the lake, loved it!
I had a pan seared salmon on top of puréed sweet potato with the smallest touch of nutmeg and that was on top of four delicious spears of asparagus. Over everything was the most delicious hollandaise sauce with some chunks of crab. The place was very busy and we had to wait but they told us we would have to wait and since we were staying at the marina with our boat we had fun talking to other boaters while waiting.
I came here last week with my girlfriend for lunch. We each had one drink and our lunch bill was $100, we both had Mac and cheese and I also had a BLT with mine. The food was good, but extremely overpriced. And because of the covid it's now basically a self serve restaurant, you seat yourself, then walk back to the hostess to order, then she brings it out and you never see her again! No offer for another drink or to see if we needed anything! This was the first and definitely the last time I ever pay $100 for lunch! A Mac and cheese lunch at that!
Fantastic lobster rolls with fresh-picked lobster and same-day baked rolls! Impressive. Great martinis. Ridiculous view of Vermont across the lake. Difficult to beat this.
