Great tender steaks & the freshest of seafood & good friendly staff & cosy atmosphere place to relax

We were invited by friends to attend the Restaurant recently as a catch up which is always a good excuse for a few drinks and a feed where someone else cleans up. The Staff were very friendly and joined in with the banter and yarns at our table as I tend to get a bit carried away when dining out with Jill and Harry Two Mad Pommies we have known for yonks.Two better people God hasn't put breath in yet.Harry and I always have a joke competition when ever we go out as both of us can tell yarns till the Cows come home.The dishes we had ranged from a massive mixed grill ( Me) to a Grilled Fish and Salad (Margaret) a Rump Steak and Veggies (Jill) a Fish, Chips and Salad ( Harry).All dishes were well presented, cooked well and served with a smile. One can't do better than that these days. We thought the drinks prices and meal prices were fair and I can see us all turning up again if the Staff have stopped laughing by now, we had a great night out.

Restaurant meals were awesome and bbq by the pool was lots of fun. Great to eat some home cooking whilst away

My wife and I stayed in one of the motels and had one meal evening meal prepared by the owner. Presentation and quality of meal excellent. Would certainly recommend this steakhouse. They have a great collection of Australian historical relics and photos. And this will be a must next time we are in Townsville.

The restaurant has excellent food, a friendly atmosphere, and reasonable prices, with welcoming and easygoing hosts.
