Access counter 0819 to order. Staff:...Service counter staff was friendly professional. All employees wore a mix of black brand button shirts, polos or non-branded black shirts; black jeans shorts, black mini skirt, black jeans and black fitness wear leggings. Counter employees, table service and clearing tables... all employees were professional friendly. The tables were deleted from customers within 5 minutes. Decor: On arrival there were 11 out of 26 indoor dining tables available and 2 out of 8 outside. Tables were basic cafés with laminate wood veneer plates. The chairs were two styles of black plastic. One was not so comfortable, but the other hand wrapped with sides beautiful and gave a nice comfortable seat. There were also banquet seats along walls with padded seat and back... that were not too comfortable. All furniture and fittings were in good repair without visible damage. The seating area extends from the café to the shopping centre. The sections were separated by gray wood and black trimming. Ambience: being a café in a shopping center and pretty busy it wasn't loud as I expected and my partner and I whispered at the table to see if we could communicate and it was easily heard and understood. It lacked a real identity that I felt was her only short coming. Location: Idalia Fairfield Shopping Centre. Newly renovated, this center is a very good example of the mix of modern services, medicine, cafes and retail. A considerable amount of available shaded parking on arrival, there was much less on our departure 75 minutes later. Plate presentation: coffee came table 0833. The food came to the table at 0846. I absolutely did not expect this level of plate presentation. It was fabulous. Portions exactly laid out, basil pesto drizzled in a ring around the plate, all screaming... I don't care how you feel when you see me first. Taste: sea red tomatoes (which I honestly at 90% of the time when seasoned and cooked for perfection, the asparagus had a crunch that was right in the zone, the haloumi was well cooked, but it was not dry inside... that really shocked me. The thick rye toast was in a delightful Avo smash that had exactly the right mix of lemon and garlic, and sat on a bed spinach that somehow WAS NOT WILTED! Even the flawless egg had a light taste of vinegar (which is the only way that accepts this feed screw as correct). It was really a pleasant surprise overall. I'm really going to tell others, and I'm going to tell them again.
What can I say about Cafe Bambini? LOVE LOVE LOVE the staff... the girls are just awesome. Food is always great from breakfast to lunch, there is so much to choose. Meals are very substantial, well presented and taste great. Freshly pressed juices are meant to die for. Cafe is always busy, which is a pretty good indication of how great they are. Manager is very obligated and accommodating.
Would go if you’re happy to wait more than 20 minutes for two coffees to go. No apology for the wait times which was unfortunate. Coffee was good but nothing to write home over.
My partner and I have been going to Bambini at Fairfield regularly over the years for breakfast. Have never had a bad coffee and the service is always efficient, professional and friendly. It can get very busy but there is never too much of a...wait. Apart from the menu there's lot of other cheaper options in the cabinet that are good value. The owner is often working and always calm and helpful. The staff seem like they are are happy. A great local business to support!
Cheaper lunch options available in addition to the lunch menu on the net. We had two nice meals. The scones were lovely and very cheap. Coffee was ok. We did however wait a while at the counter before being acknowledged.
