Satay Mas Restaurant - Townsville

Good variety buffet for $23. Dessert options were good too. Food tastes delicious & we loved the music as well :)

We ordered takeaway rather than eat -in and were sent to a door we hadn't noticed next to the entrance. We were really tired after a long day driving and just wanted something fresh and tasty to take to our hotel. The food was very disappointing and I threw 90% of it in the bin. Tasted pretty horrible to be honest, and even my husband (who hoovers everything that's not nailed down) only picked at his food. Very definitely never going here again.

I was a bit upset at my wife, for taking me to a buffet. But, I have to admit, the food was good, freshly prepared, and plentiful; the place was pretty lively, too. The salt and pepper fish was the surprise hit of the evening.

Good tasty selection. Nice to see honey chicken at a buffet as places are normally stingy with it. Daughter loves the soy wings. Ambience is great and the staff are lovely. Although could do with some better desert options, maybe heading to a supermarket and getting some cakes/pastries etc.

Just moved to Townsville and wanted Chinese driving by we got a takeaway dinner it was great, and the value excellent. We were that happy with our meal that we went back 5 days later and had the buffet dinner the selection was good and replenished often with fresh hot food the service was prompt and friendly. The restaurant was clean and spacious with tables a good distance from others the atmosphere was lovely with soft music in the back ground and authentic decor we will definitely going back would recommend this restaurant.
