Feedback gevenWe felt very comfortable here already in August and it was clear: we come back! And so I just have to write about our second visit. For three reasons, our visit was offered in December: The atmospheric Mosel Wein Nachts Markt in various wine cellars Traben Trabach's visit by Bruderli Schwägerli, combined with a Moseslausflug and a subsequent invitation to his birthday a few days before I would surely have found more reasons! I reserved in advance by phone and was glad that even one day before Holy evening was open and a table was free for us. Very friendly the lady on the phone. After visiting the Christmas wine night market, we arrived at the winery at 18.00 a.m., as reserved. Our car was well parked and free of charge at the Moslem. The small walk to the restaurant was pleasant to us. Parking is also available at the house itself. Somehow I almost expected: The courtyard covered with single glass was in full use of the restaurant! Terrace radiators provided warmth, a lot of heat! I was glad when we went to the actual restaurant after welcoming. There was a table reserved for us. . The complete property was very tastefully decorated Christmas. We already knew the nice employee in the service from our visit in August. This time she was kind of a bit looser and more informed. Was she perhaps not so long at the last visit? No matter – we felt comfortable. Keeping our drinks choice, the driveway was still on. A total of 2 bottles of mineral water Trarbacher rock source, 0,75 l € 5,40. The wines, typical of Mosel: Rieslinge. Distributed in heaven (the north lacks in wine instinctive): 1 x Southeast 2011, dry, € 4,90 1 x West 2014, dry, € 5,90 1 x South East 2016, dry, € 5,80 As a greeting from the kitchen: The well-known airy and home-baked Ciabattabrot with olives! I have no photo for you today. Flexible the kitchen, as with our first visit: No salad at the “official” appetizers. We were all after a salad and this one was in very good memory! So for us three a small salad of season € 5,90. Salad season in Germany is also flexible, thanks to suppliers! All fresh and very good. The walnut Balsamicodressing: Heavenly! little salad of the season Continued with our main dishes. These were served after a pleasant waiting period together and with friendly announcement. For my brother (just as expected from me, you know): Gänsebrust unter Bratapfelkruste, Walnuss Sauce, Rotkohl, Klöß mit Backpflaumenkappe, Applechips € 25,90. The seasonal goose court convinced my brother on the whole. He hates walnuts, but he praised the sauce. I did not comment on this. The supplements very well, I was allowed to try. Gänsebrust unter Bratapfelkruste, Walnuss Sauce, Rotkohl, Klöß All very well tasted and well fresh and homemade. I would have liked this court too. Even better than the goose dinner I liked: homemade tortellini with ricotta mushroom filling, black walnut butter and rose butter foam € 17,90. I was spanned on the Tortellini. And they loved me very much! A perfect autumn winter dish for me! Pastaig with biss. The filling tastes discreetly, the mushroom present (other than in the dry domestic forests of 2018). Tortellini with Ricotta stone mushroom filling, black walnut butter and rose butter foam Black walnuts are still quite unknown at the Moselle. I've already introduced it myself and can assure you: a lot of work, but it's worth it! With the portion of my main food, it wasn't done! It's a dream. The mild herb aroma was a surprisingly new and harmonious addition to this creative dish. My husband was very fond of Tagliatelle with shrimps and dried tomatoes in garlic olive oil and planned parmesan € 14.90. Again. Tagliatelle with shrimps and dried tomatoes Constant kitchen performance. Again the deep plate deceived, because the portion was plentiful. Again, numerous shrimps were hidden during the photo shoot. Abrupt did this tastefully of course not. Garpoints, wort... all great! Pleasant and well-saturated we soon made ourselves on the way home. Not without being provided with sufficient wishes for Christmas and annual change by the service ladies. . I have encouraged to include this restaurant in the Gastro Guide coupon pool. The Mosel region is popular tourist, so it would not only fit us as future regular guests. It would be nice if it worked. No matter how it goes: we'll be back.
