Even after waiting in line, we were told they don't accept Scottish currency. The waiter was friendly, but the girl with glasses had a terrible attitude and didn't seem to care about the inconvenience. When I suggested they put up signs about their currency policy, she was rude. Overall, a terrible experience with poor customer service.
We visited during school half term holiday so expected it to be busy…it was (as were all the food outlets) but the queue moved relatively quickly. The counter was well staffed but, if anything, was probably over staffed as this led to all the rushing and chaos. The first member of staff kept calling customers forward to prepare their choice of bread but there were so many customers, we were running out of room to stand while we waited for the next stage of the Subway making process. It was all very rushed and I felt obliged to make quick decisions on my choice of food. It appeared that cold drinks and cookies were already prepared to hand out, presumably for quickness. One of our cookies was different to what we had ordered but as we like most flavours and don’t have any allergies, we didn’t bother to go back and change it. Food was standard Subway fare although to be provided with a serviette each would have been useful along with a tray to carry our food to the table. My tip would be to spend your queuing time deciding in advance what you are going to have so that you don’t feel under pressure to decide at the counter with a massive queue behind you.
Seriously understaffed and slow! Waited over 40mins for a sandwich. Granted my own fault for queuing so long but won't be visiting this place again. Three staff at busiest time of day and two were shadowing each other. Wake up! 1 person 1 customer. Get the job done!
I came here today and the woman who served me was lovely. As a vegan my favourite sub here is the meatless meatball marina and it was delightful. When I got to the kiosk the woman serving asked me if I wanted her to change her gloves as she had touched meat. Whilst, many may say this should be assumed as a yes, she may not have known if I was anti-meat and or may have wanted to know my genuine views balanced against the waste of gloves. Anyway, it was delicious and great service.
The short lady with eyeglasses in the till has a bad attitude .. well It was a straightforward order from the customer by pointed out on the display what flavour she wanted and said 1 pack of each. The staff first Wrongly took 1 pc Cookie each flavour when the customer clearly pointed out in 1 pack of each flavour, then staff 2nd mistake was to give the wrong flavour rainbow and macadamia, the 3rd mistake was wrong flavour again. The customer didn’t complain for her mistake but the staff clearly expressed herself that she was really annoyed by blaming customer and by rolling her eyes
