However, we were surprised to find that we had received 8 onion bhajis instead of the expected 4. The curry, rice, and naans were delicious. The chef was friendly, but it seemed like the owner may not have been fully aware of what was happening. Despite this, we decided to return to the restaurant.
The curries at this restaurant are delicious. I frequently travel to Altrincham for work and make sure to visit Masala Bangladeshi every time. When you place your order, you can watch as they chop ingredients and cook right in front of you. The prices are very reasonable too.
In the last few weeks, I have ordered a few dishes for delivery from this restaurant. I tried the Bangla Achari and the Cham Cham with pilau rice from the Bangla Recommendations menu. For starters, I had Fish Tikka or Meat Samosa with a side of Mint sauce. The delivery usually took about 30 minutes. The staff on the phone was friendly and I was able to pay by card. Our house is roughly 2 miles away and I believe they deliver within a three-mile radius. I really liked the food and will definitely order from them again.
We ordered a takeaway tonight as we have done on previous occasions. We received a phone call from a mobile number to get directions 30 minutes later to then be told that we were not within the delivery radius of 5 miles .... we actually are!! I then phoned the takeaway who said that was correct. When I asked if the food was cooked and ready to go, I was told it was and would be put in the bin. ‘Put in the bin’ I said to which they answered “yes and what are you going to do about it”!! They’re are homeless people and families who rely on food banks and your throwing food in the bin?
