The dishes being enjoyed by other customers caught our eye, so we decided to step inside and try something new. We opted to share three appetizers so we could sample a variety of dishes before choosing our main course. If only the world could achieve the level of harmony we did in deciding on dishes! One of the appetizers we tried was the cucumber and Japanese radish maki, a simple sushi dish served with soy sauce for dipping and ginger to cleanse the palate.
I visited Somester for a day trip and decided to come here for dinner after a long day. The service was not great as the staff seemed uninterested in engaging in any conversation besides taking our order. I had the hot pot bowl, which was decent, but the chef seemed unenthusiastic. The dumplings were not fresh and were quite tough, making it difficult to eat. If I return to Somester, I will not be coming back to this restaurant, but will instead give another place a chance. As a fan of Asian food, I was disappointed as it did not meet my expectations.
