Food was freezing cold, bland and staff unprofessional We still got charged for dishes that we never ate, lovely location but not worth an euro

Our B&B host recommended this restaurant mainly because of the spectacular sunset-views. I have to admit; he was right about that! We also enjoyed the food; don’t expect fancy stuff, but our pasta -dishes were quite OK. Staff is doing well, but you notice they are quite new in the job. Without sunset, I would have rated 3, but now it’s a 4.

This is the first negative review I have left on trip advisor… This restaurant has a fantastic view for sunset drinks but that is where the superlatives end. I should add that nothing in this review reflects on the waiting staff who were also fantastic and very helpful. There is no drinks menu so you have no idea when you ordering drinks what they cost so you awkwardly need to ask the price when deciding what to order and need to know what you want. When it comes to asking for the wine list to chose wine to go with your food , surprise surprise that is not written down either. You rely on the waiter reeling off a list of very few wines without specifying the prices or if they are red white or sparkling. Perhaps as the wine list is very limited and the wines are mostly very overpriced. Food wise we were recommended this restaurant for the local specialty of fish and cous cous. It was not on the menu (which was a poor quality wonky print out on A4 paper with some of the words and prices obscured) but when asked we were told it was on the “extra menu”. The “extra menu” given verbally had 2-3 items on it and we went for the fish cous cous. What we received tasted ok but it was basically a pile of cous cous cooked in a seafood bouillabaisse with no more than 6-8 prawns scattered on top and around it with a sauce to pour on. The biggest surprise was the cost- 50€ for the two simple dishes. The total bill with a large and a small beer, one cocktail and water was around 80€. Based on other prices paid locally the food should have been 10-12€. So be aware this place is very pricey without the end product and you are paying for the view. I understand that the restaurant has changed hands so may not be what it once was.

Nice eating at the sea. handwritten menu looks like it would change daily. heavy fish was beautiful. looks like just after a break open, so they think service all learn their new roll, but surely gets better. Sicilian wine was very beautiful

Posizione meravigliosa, cibo delizioso ma personale confuso e estremamente lento. Non ci sono molti tavoli ma quando siamo andati la sera c'era un tavolo che riceveva tutta l'attenzione a discapito degli altri, compreso il nostro. A un certo punto ci è stato chiesto se potessero portare il conto (ma avevamo appena ordinato) a causa della confusione dei numerosi camerieri. Peccato.
