The Dark Horse - Traralgon

Good blend of options with great quality food. The atmosphere at this restaurant is amazing and I really loved the old fashioned clock coupled with the photo wall with witty quotes. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and checked in often. We had the squid and tacos for entree and steaks for mains. The only improvement would be the time taken for mains which took a little longer than expected. Will be back!

Start to finish great service food. The staff greeted us straight away with friendly smiles. The choice of food was a nice surprise, finally in Traralgon something different. Our 4 meals were all very tasty served within a nice time to give us time to have a drink a chat. We will definitely be back

Food was absolutely perfect, i cant remember the names of the dishes and the menu on facebook is not up to date but what we had was a delicious range of fusion flavours! we shared our plates as we all wanted to experience the dishes and the meal sizes are very generous. Venue was well presented and comfortable, customer service efficient and professional. 100% will eat there again and again!

I had an incredible steak cooked just the way I like it (medium), and everyone else enjoyed their meals as well. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

I highly recommend visiting THE DARK HORSE restaurant! The food was absolutely amazing, especially the fresh and tasty smoked salmon cigars and the perfectly spiced Street Smart dish. The Mythological Plate was also a unique and delightful experience, allowing you to create your own selection plate. The menu caters to all preferences with options for small, large, and vegan meals. The staff were fantastic, very cheerful, helpful, and attentive, even going the extra mile to make my birthday special with a candle on my cheesecake and a birthday song. I was also excited to hear that they will soon be launching a new Cocktail Menu. Overall, I give this restaurant a 12 out of 10! Items tried included Smoked Salmon Cigars, Street Smart, Mythological Plate, Raspberry White Chocolate Cheesecake, Wild Dog Sauvignon Blanc, and Drift Sauvignon Blanc.
