Fusion Resort - Treasure Island

Our grandson was visiting from PA and we wanted to do something special. He's 22 and we loved the 2 bed 2 bath suite. It's like an apartment fully equipped to spend time...short or long. The views are spectacular, there is a bar/restaurant on the 2nd floor and food and drinks were excellent. Asha at the front desk was so accommodating. Whatever we needed she would get us. Walking distance to stores, other restaurants was available. I highly recommend treating yourself T the Fusion!!

Very near the beach; great kid-friendly pool; hot tub; restaurant with scratch-made pizzas, pretzel appetizers, and great specials smoked right on the porch; rooftop bar with a great panoramic view; beautiful marina with lighted night time water features; loaner bicycles and golf cart service.Nearby activities: The beach is a a very short walk away.Food drinks: Restaurant with scratch-made pizzas and homemade pretzel appetizers, and great specials smoked right on the porch; restaurant and rooftop bars; great panoramic view from rooftop.Noteworthy details: Right near the beach. The pool is magical for the kids with tons of new friends. Rooftop bar has an amazing view. Smoked specials are great as are homemade pretzel appetizers.

The rooms are more like 2 or 3 bedroom apartments. The kitchens are well stocked with pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc. All rooms appear to have a balcony facing the water which was beautiful.Parking on site is limited and requires a parking permit from the check in desk.If there were downsides I would say that I wished there was a washer and dryer in the suite. If you are staying here for an extended time be aware that laundry is not available in your room. The other downside was the extremely limited food options available onsite.Food drinks: Food options are extremely limited so if you are a picky eater or have food restrictions it may be problematic. The food I had was low quality so I found it better to walk down the street to a local cafe, restaurant, or get groceries and cook.Drinks are pretty good here. Upon checking in I received a few drink coupons to help encourage me to head to the bar.

We had a one night stay at Fusion in Treasure Island on Tuesday the 25th of July 2023 as we were in the area. What a great venue in a great location this is. Easy to find, and close to all the local amenities. The room was really nicely presented, spacious and comfortable. The pool area was chilled and a nice spot to relax in the sun. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. We will certainly be back next time we are in the U.S.A.

We were so happy with our choice at fusion. We thought about booking last yr and didn't. We booked with prob less then month before our vacation we stayed july 14-22nd 2023. We unfortunately had to switch rooms halfway thru a. Cuz it saved us money to stay in regular 2 bdrm for first 4 days and stayed in premium suite the last 4 nignts. That was worst part. But just to let anyone know the premium suites only difference is they have washer and dryer only difference and on top two floors i believe we were told. But i will say we stayed in room 404 and 509. Both views were outstanding. Beautiful we seen dolphins and a couple manatee while at fusion. We got to fish by the bridge. We swam at pool. Had some drinks at the bar. Got golf cart rides and also used the free bikes. This place has it all plus they ha ve 8 Tesla charging stations u can charge ur tesla or Ev while at resort or hotel. Which is awesome! It charges u thru app which was easy once we figured it out we rented a polestar and easily charged it on the white charging stations. So i will say the majority of the staff we had the most interactions with are absolutely phenomenal. This is a pretty small place so u kinda get to see a lot of them in a weeks time. I will say we loved G. He is absolutely the best he makes this place extra special. He really does he gave us rides to beach and hes just super kind talkative guy and very helpful. He was the best!! Also missy i think shes the manager she's the sweetest i absolutely loved her! She is also awesome! The staff at the bar were great as well kevin and guy from plant city lol. They were really great. Also have great talent that plays on the weekends. It is a really great place. Not far walk to beach or anywhere...but when it was like 98 degrees n super humid much easier to take the golf cart. But also free beach ride more then happy to come get u from fusion n take u wherever u need to go. Also uber or lyft u can get rides to wherever johns pass or wherever for less then 10 bucks. Its a great place try it a day or 2 if ur not sure. Trust me u will enjoy it its absolutely beautiful. Also have rooftop area if not having events u can go up to it and check it out. Its absolutely beautiful rooms where clean beds were comfy. And the bedding cool air conditioners work well. And the fans extra plus in the rooms and living rooms. We got to look at the 3 bedroom 3 bath units they are absolutely beautiful and huge the balconies are like double the other rooms. We def loved our stay kids made friends with the neighbor kids and stayed out of our hair which was a bonus. Lol. But i can't imagine not loving this place the views are great. It might not be beach view but u see boats n tour boats n dolphins and just beauty. And beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We hopefully will return in future. We are from pittsburgh so harder to come like some people we met were staying from local or less then an hr or 2 from their homes. So its def a go to for locals. So always trust locals they know the good spots! Only downfall i could say since we flew in was having to bring beach towels and not having beach chairs and stuff for beach but.u can rent them or buy some cheap enough at Walmart or wherever. That's totally up to ur vacation how u want to go about that but to me was only thing we missed from not renting someones condo that provides those things. But def far from deal breaker 4 us. We bought a chair and it flew home with us for free thanks to southwests amazing bag policy!! Anyway u wont regret a stay here!! We were so sad to have to leave.Rooms: Beautiful views comfy beds comfortable linens. Fans were great touch would be plus if added dressers.Nearby activities: So many things local boats jetskis live music bars restaurants surf style etc beach and tons moreSafety: Seemed very safe to us the only skechy we seen was near the gas station after midnight first night we can which was midnight on fri night which its near a couple bar restaurants.
