We have been going to the Märkische Eck for years and have had various celebrations there. The food is and the service is still top, but the boss apparently tries to take advantage of his position of power and is anything but above. We wanted to book a table by phone for a birthday party and he was totally overwhelmed, stressed, unfriendly and put on. We had to justify why we called at noon. It is definitely heavily frequented at this time, but this is not the problem of the customer/guest. When people work full-time, use their break niches to book a table like here. Here's a tip: Just change the phone/lap time ratio. If, as he does, one still works at the service, one should know at his age how to deal with guests. Too bad that work and loving table decorations simply disappear from the cute ladies and the boss prefers special tables for a simple meal to a pre-announced birthday. We hope that the quality of food and services will not suffer and will be happy to come back.

The house makes a good impression, the offer of food and drinks very rich. The food tasted us all well, the disadvantage was only the long waiting times.
