A former colleague brought me here. When I saw the outside I thought ok, very American place, will be similar to McDonald 's . The atmosphere is indeed that one (old Cadillacs, old vinyls... , but I don 't dislike it. I was ready to order some burger or american food, instead my colleague went with pasta, thus I decided to follow. We ordered also a bottle of water. After some minutes the bottle was on the table, we had to ask for 2 glasses. It took a long time after the order, but this can be a good clue that they are really cooking at the moment, so I was not worrying. Then my pasta came. I waited some time, but the other dish was not coming. It took like another 5 10 minutes... and they came with the wrong food. It was ravioli, the waiter called it garganelli and my colleague had ordered tagliatelle. : Quite strange that the waiter couldn 't recognize the pasta shapes, since he was Italian. The it took another 5 minutes to get the right food. I must say that both dishes were good, abundant and respected tradition. Therefore, I would give 4 stars or even a little more to the food itself, but 2 for the service: the water girl and the pasta buy were both kind, but clearly messy. The place was quite empty, even if it is very large. The pasta was so much that I couldn 't even think to have a dessert, but there were several different cakes that were looking delicious. We spent 10€ each for (1 dish of pasta half liter water coffee : quite cheap to me.
Getting a chicken burrito for 7 euros.. nice and with fries too. Bad thing they can not switch fries with salad but all in all I would take it again. My friends got the giant burger and they were disappointed.. big is big but the quality is not really great. The price shows you that too.. 10 euros for a giant burger and fries.. you could know what to expect. I suggest to focus more on the quality than on the quantity.. but this depends also on the target customer they have in mind
After a 30-45 min wait, only 2 of our 10 people table had their food. Not ideal as the rest were left waiting for a while before the food was served. I can think of any excuse to not have a cold beer at a restaurant! Specially if it is advertised as a beer you must taste! Besides from this, and the broken card machine, everything else was alright. If you decide to go, always book a table and show up a couple minutes early, as there is likely to be a queue waiting to be seated.
