Le Coin - Trie-sur-Baïse

We had a reasonable 3-course lunch, except for a bizarre background, why they prune my fish skin side down to turn it on the plate, so the skin was face up, and then cover it in sauce that was good. Except I had to scratch the sauce, they turned the fish face up, and then scratch the sauce again to avoid a mouthful skin every time. whether this follows a strange French recipe, or that the chef has not clearly thought out, is unknown, but it spoils an otherwise reasonable lunch.

Great food, friendly service, good ambiance. Very reasonable prices too. Lovely sitting outside in the summer and watching the world go by.

Decided to eat here on a Sunday lunch time on the spur of the moment and were not disappointed. The €14.50 three course lunch was excellent and good value.

Had midweek lunch at Le coin. My wife and I had steak and frites cooked very well and a tasting of the nouveau wine as it is that time of year, unfortunately driving or I would have had more. The other menu option was beuf...bourguignon with pasta. Looked really good and everyone seems to enjoy. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Thank you.

Jour de marché à la brocante ; du monde certes mais cela n’empêche ni de sourire ni d être courtois . Accueillis par la propriétaire (?) comme des cheveux sur la soupe et gratifié d'un "elle" au lieu de Mme (ou autre plus correcte). Heureusement que les employés eux sont agréables .Cuisine toutefois correcte .
