Donna Mia - Trier

We spent a nice day in Trier and wanted to finish the day Culinary Italian and then decided for this restaurant. Well centrally located with a large terrace. But we decided to eat in there. The restaurant is beautifully designed, with a beautiful ambience and you feel right in this atmosphere as in Italy!!! We got a place close to the drinks counter, so that we had a good look at the open kitchen, so that we could see the pizza baker directly over the shoulder as he understands his craft. Corona does not have a menu in paper form. On the tables is a QR code and the service has kindly explained how it works. Simply scan only QR code and it appears directly on the menu on the display. ABER here there is a point of criticism of us: if you enlarge the menu, it will unfortunately be blurred. I thought that would be on my Samsung S9 smartphone, but no, my girlfriend also had the same problem with her Huawei P30. My recommendation, just scan the menu again high-resolution, and then the problem should be eliminated!!! We then chose a pasta dish (Aglio e Olio with fried chicken strips) and a classic pizza Margherita. The ordered beverages(1 bottle of mineral water 1x homemade lemons lemonade) were brought within a very short time and the ordered dishes, for which a lot was going on, were also served relatively quickly. At this point, the service would like to express praise. The service was very attentive and friendly at any time. Tastefully there isn't much to complain. The NUDELGERICHT was very tasty, and spiced exactly to the point. With the noodles, I would only have liked to add some small pizza rolls or small slices of Italian bread, then it would be perfect for me. The PIZZA is big and the dough is nice thin and very slightly crispy, so should be a pizza. The only thing I would have to do with the pizza is the tomato sauce, which could have been sweeter for my taste!(tastefully I mean, as the Pomodori Pelati tastes from the volcano area) At the end, we have still enjoyed a cappuccino, which is very tasty, I can only recommend! Price performance is completely fine in this restaurant! We'll be happy to come by on occasion.

Very competent and friendly service, which can also make recommendations. Drinks and food were prepared very quickly and freshly. The food was delicious. We recommend to reserve a place one day before.
