Pizzeria Delfino - TRIESTE

Typical restaurant. Nice atmosphere, nice staff. Pizza was delicious, I would say 4/5, but excessively 5 stars. Good prices as on the photo, service fee added in the invoice. Better go there than to any tourist place. Cheap wine! Short waiting time. Just over!

We ate here twice in a week as it was close to our accommodation, cheap and tasty. Very friendly service, generous portions and inexpensive. While we speak Italian and the staff does not have much English, we understood and felt like we were eating at our grandparents. They just want to see how people enjoy their meals: very good for children, as the service is super fast. Closed Wednesdays (otherwise we would probably have eaten three times there...

Every meal in Delfino is great and made with big love and so much careful as it would be done at home by a perfect, real Italian Mother . Super friendly and cordial staff will cause that You can feel like in a typical, cozy Italian restaurant surrounded by friendly people who wanted to feed You really good :

I found it, I was looking for a local traditional tattoria. All the locals were there. Packed. Family friendly, kids, aunties, teens. Walk in and served by mature waiting staff who has been there since opened. Pasta or pizza he asked.He goes thru specials. I don't know Italian but we manage. I am.on a pasta mission. Comes with a salad. I order half litre wine. Crusty blacked bread is free. You can see the staff preparing simple traditional food.. Happy as the music if food cooking and waiter ferrying food. Home made gnocchi with beef ragu. Perfect. Would come back. If I could get in.
