Moonstone Grill - Trinidad

The atmosphere and the food were fantastic. I had the sea-red Ahi, which was great my sister had the Clam fetters. My brother-in-law had Steak and Pommes and my husband had fish and chips. Everyone was very tasty. Our waiter was great and the view was very nice. In any case, would go back!

I was looking for the perfect place for dinner by the sea to celebrate my late husband's birthday. It was the perfect place right by the sea with great food and service. We really enjoyed each other. The food is expensive, but worth every dollar. I can't expect to go back! Fine food on the north coast is located directly on Moonstone. The ride there is beautiful, the view of the sea is beautiful, and so was the food.

We had our first date at Moonstone Grill (then Sam Merryman's Steakhouse) 54 years ago. I loved it then and we are back several times over the years. Always a great meal and of course the location. The menu has developed as each new owner puts his own spin on the restaurant. The restaurant is in good hands with the current owners. You have the elegance and quality of food and service that we first enjoyed.

We loved the visit. It was our second time to eat in Moonstone. The food was wonderful and our server was top notch. There was a problem in the kitchen with our order, which caused a little wait, but we were happy and nothing against it. Our server was very apologetic (I wish I knew her name) overall it was a big visit.

Restaurant strives to be fine dining. A little amateur but the food is good and the service is meaningful. Delicious drinks.
