Feedback gevenIl geranio is a visit only for the most interesting, but the summer menu makes it something special. we had two appetizers, the insalatina geranio and the tons in campana see pictures), which were excellent fresh and tasty. we then shared a frittura mista roasted seafood), which was just as good, a light scatter and high quality ingredients. two desserts I'm done with, a millefoglie and a tortta mimosa I can recommend. the service was good and the staff was friendly as always.
The food was excellent, the view was than I can say. I really recommend! The best place in Sardegna!
Beautiful view, but worst service ever experienced!
HELL’S KITCHEN Terrible service. Arrived at pm and didn’t get our food until the restaurant wasn’t even full. The raw appetizers and the ragù pasta were served at the same time. The lobster pasta was overcooked yet the lobster was raw and impossible...to eat resulting in a sloppy ensemble. The staff seemed clueless and could not figure out what belonged to whom. Our friend was still on an empty stomach at midnight while we all had had our food. The wine was awful as well. Tasted like rotten grapes. Let’s not even talk about the watery tuna, oily at codfish and the fact that the side dish was served while other people’s dessert was being served. Out of of us not one had something nice to say about this place.
A birthday lunch (unannounced) on a Monday with no other clients only to be expected, so we had the place to ourselves and it was excellent. Il Geranio has a terrace with a view to die for, outside tables and a wide-ranging menu. As...a family-run business, one of the sons was our waiter. We had the antipasto di mare to start with (one portion between us, which was sufficient), followed by filetto for me and fish for my wife. Both good, and we finished with a special dessert consisting of three bignè filled with crema pasticciera and topped with hot chocolate. During the dessert, the staff put on a recording of Happy Borthday, a small but special touch which made us both laugh. With litre of house white, water and a bottle of digestivo left on the table with the coffee this was a birthday to remember. Well done.
