Definitely worth a visit on Fogo Island! We returned to this restaurant twice and couldn't stop craving the carrot cake. The atmosphere is cozy and laid-back.

This review is a throwback, as we dined at this restaurant three times in 2011.

I was warmly welcomed into a cozy space, making it the perfect spot for dinner today. The soup, a deliciously thick celery cream, was absolutely delightful.

We tried the blueberry flavour, jam jam flavour and the partridgeberry flavoured ice cream. Sooooo good!!! A definite stop while visiting Fogo Island!!

So delicious. Jam-jam ice cream. Need I saw more. The day I visited Growlers was short staffed and busy, but I forgot about the long line up as soon as that ice...
