Feedback gevenThis is the third restaurant at this site. Some of you will remember it as Clifton Capers. We tried this restaurant last weekend. I must say we were really looking forward to this evening. This same owner had previously had a very successful restaurant under the same name in Cairns.Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The food was late getting to our table for a start. We started with the flower pot bread (damper) and a balsamic oil concoction-this needs urgent attention. For mains I had the lamb shanks (twice cooked). The meat was tender but the combination of the jus and the white sauce was not to my liking. My wife tried the pork which had a tasty jus but the curry addition didn't work all that well. The menu at this stage is very limited (5 main items) on one page and yet 2 pages of alcoholic drinks which are a little expensive. If you want to take your own wine it will cost you $10 corkage per bottle.I hope I'm wrong but I don't think they will last in this location as locals will soon tire of a limited menu, long waiting time and will look elsewhere.
