We dined there six times in just four days, enjoying three breakfasts and three dinners. It's worth noting that there are limited dining options in town as the other Fudge's restaurant near Fudge's Motel has shut down. However, the food at Fudge's was top-notch, as was the service. The waitstaff and owners were all incredibly friendly and accommodating. The views from the outdoor deck overlooking Card's Harbour were absolutely stunning.
The restaurant is now known as Fudges Restaurant and is under new ownership. This may explain some of the differences from previous reviews as the original Fudges Restaurant is now closed. It appears to be the only restaurant in Triton. We dined there for two meals, dinner one evening and breakfast the next morning. The main issue we encountered was that the price of the food did not match the portion size. The food was average but nothing stood out as exceptional. The portions were small and there were no complimentary refills, not even for coffee. The restaurant is quite spacious so it can get chilly, it is advisable to bring a jacket or sweater.
The staff at this restaurant were amazing. They were extremely friendly and made us feel like we had known them for years. They were very knowledgeable about the local area and the menu. The mussels were delicious. The restaurant had a stunning view and a great atmosphere.
We just loved staying at the owner Wandas inn and also eating at her restaurant too, she has an eye for fine details and just wants to make you feel at home and comfortable..we enjoyed breakfast, lunch and Dinner here..and even shared a meal with a guest from Ontario who was staying in a room next to us..and Wanda joined us for a chat too, a very enjoyable stay...we will be back
Icebergs, whales, birds and as usual we return to PJ's with empty stomaches aching for some really fresh seafood and warm hospitality. Again with friends are NOT disappointed. Some mussels, seafood platters with everything including salmon, shrimp, squid, and cod etc... Always have enough to take home some. Sunny days abound there. The Whale Pavilion next door makes the trip complete as does the stop to sit upon Robert's Arm's Cressie featured on Monster Quest, the hike in Brighton, and the drive along the causeway. Now that is living and eating. Reasonably priced.
