Sushizo - Trois-Rivières

We were looking for a restaurant that could accommodate our vegan friend in the group, and this place delivered. They had a vegan-friendly sushi dish which was good, as well as regular sushi dishes that were also delicious. I ordered a General Tao chicken bowl which was well balanced, although the sauce was a bit heavy but balanced out by a side serving. The desserts were a deep fried Mars bar, resembling egg rolls, and deep fried ice cream. The Mars bar rolls were quite rich, so I would suggest sharing with someone. The chef was very friendly and even gave us a dessert consisting of a croissant baked with apple, chocolate, and almost blueberries. I would recommend trying this place as we were not disappointed.

The atmosphere is lovely, the sushi is fresh and made right in front of you, the staff is very helpful in assisting with menu choices. You can even order for takeout and enjoy it at home.

The chefs at this restaurant are incredibly creative and the sushi is outstanding. I highly recommend trying it, you won't be disappointed. In addition, the service is excellent and customers can bring their own wine.

We stopped for lunch and could have stayed in the afternoon in what the chef created. the three of us chose a 20 piece “Chef’s Choice” together with a “Assiette amuse ta Gueule” (a court to entertain their mouth) and a...4 oz part of tuna tartare. our order included a wonderful chicken broth that was spiced with ingwer and shredded by crab meat, right, and then came up a fantastic presentation that tasted even better than it seemed to reach a difficult game. on the plate there was no morsel left. sushizo serves an eclectic selection of fine, flavored and spiced menu items in Japanese style. the service is very pleasant and attentive. we finished with a beautiful “Sushi” dessert surprise. this restaurant is a must if they are in trois rivières. the pictures make it hardly fair

After a year and a half of talking about how great the food was here, we decided we had to come back. We were pleased to see the same chef creating his sushi infusions at the back of the restaurant. Once again, staff was incredibly...polite and helpful with translating the menu. As soon as we dug into the 12 piece lunch we ordered, it was confirmed; still amazing. If you enjoy the combination of unexpected flavours marrying perfectly in your mouth, you will love it here. Even if you don't love sushi, it is worth a try, because there are so many different textures and tastes involved in the food served here.
