I had the Stuffed Halibut and my wife had Chicken Alfredo. I was especially impressed with the young men whom are working hard to get the food out and plates cleaned up. They are a reflection on management. This place will be a must eat restaurant, if we ever come back. Skip Lolos and eat here.
We just found this place, and had a great time. The food was tasty, the menu was a good size, service was very friendly and super prompt, and the value was amazing. Dinner for two was $35 or so pre-tip, and we got a bunch of delicious food for it. It even came with a dessert! Loved the tiramisu. A nice selection of vegetarian options too. We couldn?t find a thing to complain about if we tried. Pompello is sure to be a new staple of ours for casual date nights!
So good! Haven?t had great Italian food since moving here from the east coast. The Tuscan chicken was phenomenal! Food in the PNW has been mediocre at best? so glad to have found this place. Such a cute street too! We will definitely be back!!
I haven't had authentic Italian cuisine and environment since I moved to Oregon two years ago, and as an Italian, I was really missing it. But this place had such a homey feel to it, it was like you were eating at their kitchen table. The staff was accommodating and attentive, even with several big lunch parties. They treated you like family, and the food was just as good if not better. Even with the lunch portion, I had enough to take home too. You could tell the ingredients were quality and fresh, and the flavors complimented each other so well (try the crab cakes and tiramisu! . The cherry on top was that the head chef (seemed like he was from Italian heritage? came out and greeted each table, checked in with them, and had regulars that he caught up with, really making it feel authentic and like you just stepped into their home kitchen rather than a restaurant. Thank you for creating a wonderful environment with wonderful food! We'll definitely be coming back!
Amazing food, Amazing staff, Amazing service and VERY open to accommodations! I was passing through Troutdale around lunchtime on my way from Portland to Seattle while doing the scenic drive, so stopped here for lunch since it was the most highly rated restaurant in the area, and had quite an extensive menu as well. My boyfriend and I had the Bruschetta to start off with, and it was quite nice and fresh. The liquid part (outside of the tomato) did feel a tiny bit tangy, but only if you add too much. Bread was quite warm and soft and fresh too. They even gave us extra bread when I asked for it. For the mains, we both ordered pastas, with a lot of adjustments requests, and the server was very patient with all of it! I got the Sophia Scampi a shrimp scampi which came with bell peppers and mushrooms, but I updated it: ½ fettuccine ½ zucchini noodles add extra broccoli replace with side salad I believe the server was knew, and messed up a bit with her notes, so the chef actually came out to the table to confirm my order. Such concern and kindness! The pasta itself was beautiful! What a large serving size, and they did not compromise on the veggies at all! The sauce was also perfect with the shrimp and veggies and everything just went so well together! Shrimp was really fresh too. My boyfriend got the Chicken alle Gorgonzola. He added the side salad on as well, and asked for some steamed veggies on the side. I tried some of that pasta sauce, and it was freaking amazing! So creamy and just perfect! I wouldn't mind a bowl of just that sauce itself! He really liked the entire pasta as well and made sure he finished it even though he was starting to get full haha. Can't waste good food
