Feedback gevenThe atmosphere is lovely, but most importantly, the food was awesome. Our server (shoutout Jeffrey, hope I’m spelling your name right! was so great, knowledgeable and kind! Our food came out piping hot and everything was flavorful and scrumptious. It was incredibly affordable as well. I know we will be coming back!
I usually don’t review places ASAP, but this place deserve my five star We parked on the street and walked in to this place for first time to try something . We seat outside and ordered wine and pizza, servers were friendly, sweet and attentive to customers, Bacchus atmosphere was great. wood fire pizza, appetizers and wine menu pretty good. But menu has room for improvement as always , and I have to say much better than all other places. Absolutely reasonable price, outside seat were pretty comfortable and designed well. inside bar and decor was simple and fantastic Love it so classic and European style
A joyful place, not far from the water and close to numerous spots in this elegant restored section of Victorian Troy. The pizza is fabulous, the crust in particular, yeast raised and aged for a couple of days in the cool, is close to perfect. For my money, skip the chicken pizza with gorgonzola, it reads better than it tastes. Incredibly salty and oily. Tomato with mozzarella and meatball is really splendid, with the brightness of the tomato showing itself off as sweet and tangy. Experienced, professional staff could do this work in their sleep, but they throw everything into The business of being welcoming hosts. Does get very busy on beautiful nights, with music and seating out on this pretty little side street.
I love this place! Moving to the area soon and have gone twice while looking around the area. Can’t wait to eat here all the time. The garlic bulb is amazing! And the pasta is great! Pizza is fantastic! Staff is so friendly.
After a concert right across the street from this restaurant, some friends and I were invited to come over and have some food and drinks before catching a train back to NYC. The restaurant had a warm and welcoming pub-like charm to it. While at the bar, we had some really tasty beers. I think I had Gunner's Daughter-Milk Stout from Maine. It was absolutely delicious. For food, I had the broccoli pizza. Sorry, I forgot the actual name of the exact pizza but we took the food with us to eat as we waited for Amtrak. Those pizzas were so good that some folks sitting next to us in the train station asked us where we got the pizzas. Just delicious pizza! Some of the best pizza I've had in a while. I've gotta get back to Albany just to eat at this restaurant again. Check it out if you're in the area.
